Website of the Assembly of Liturgical Musicians, the organizations for
musicians of the Archdioscese of Ottawa. Contains a wealth of
information and resources of all aspects of music and liturgy;
information on workshops held by the ALM, a large resource section with
info on websites, books, hymnals, and other useful things, and a
classifieds section for listing musicians wanted or musicians available.
- National Association Of Pastoral Musicians:
The National Association of Pastoral Musicians (NPM) is the predominant
association of liturgical musicians in the United States. Their site
has contact and membership information, as well as useful articles and
planning resources.
Major Publishers - Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB):
Publisher of the Catholic Book of Worship III hymnal, as well as ritual
celebration books, sacraments, liturgy resources, CCCB documents, Roman
documents, other resources.
- GIA Music:
Publisher of the Gather and Worship hymnals, and of music by David
Haas, Marty Haugen, Bob Batastini, Richard Proulx, Donna Peña, Rory
Cooney, and dozens of others. North American distributers of music from
the Taizé and Iona communities.
- Oregon Catholic Press (OCP):
Publisher of the Glory & Praise, Journeysongs and Spirit & Song
hymnals, as well as a wide selection of spanish-language resources.
Composers published by OCP include Bernadette Farrell, Bob Hurd, Carey
Landry & Carol Jean Kinghorn, Ken Canedo, Bernard Huijbers, Kevin
Keil, Suzanne Toolan, and the St. Louis Jesuits. OCP also administers
copyrights for New Dawn Music and for music previously published by
North American Liturgy Resources (NALR).

Publishers of the Worship & Rejoice hymnal, and publisher of
numerous hymns. With it's roots of music publishing in the mid-1800's,
this company is one of North America's oldest publishers of sacred
music.

Developed in equal partnership with Logos Productions in the United
States, MediaCom Associates in Australia and Wood Lake Books in Canada,
the LicenSing program offers access to over 100,000 songs and hymns to
churches for use in worship, church activities and community
gatherings. Covers music from most common publishers, such as OCP, GIA
(in Canada only), Hope, and others. Available through Wood Lake Books in Canada, Logos Productions in the United States, and MediaCom Education in Australia and New Zealand.
- Christian Copyright Licensing International:
Provides licensing services for over 150,000 songs for congregational
use. Covers most contemporary christian music publishers and artists,
such as Graham Kendrick, Rich Mullins, Twila Paris, and Darrell Evens.
- OneLicense.net:
A new joint licensing program (launched Aug 1, 2004) covering primarly
congregational music from major publishers such as GIA, Hope, Augsburg
Fortress, Concordia, Lorenz, OUP, and Troubadour for the Lord.
